Had an unforgettable experience at KS Paying Guest House during Dev Deepavali in Banaras. The rooftop offered one of the best views of the ghats lit up with thousands of diyas — it felt magical watching the reflection of the lights dance on the Ganga. The food was simple yet soulful, especially the home-style thali and hot chai that perfectly matched the cool evening breeze. Sitting there, surrounded by chants, fireworks, and glowing lamps, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to soak in the spirit of Banaras.
Really nice place, nothing to complain about. Excellent service at reception, restaurant was amazing with good food and service, room is clean and no problems at all. I especially want to recommend the guide Satyam, who showed me around the city, various spots, told me about the traditions and history, and was generally a very nice person. Ask for Satyam at the reception, and you will get an amazing stay in the great city of Varanasi!
Ks Paying Guest House is a great place to stay in Varanasi if you want comfort and cleanliness, for a short or long stay. The rooms with balconies are pleasant with views of the Ganges. The staff are really friendly and helpful. There is also a restaurant upstairs where I ate throughout my stay, serving healthy and tasty food. The restaurant manager is very accommodating, friendly, and helpful.
The one thing you anyone expects at a property during a vacation is hospitality and thats exactly what you get at Ks paying guest house. The staff takes very good care of you , they try to accommodate all your request. For me they even arranged darshan at Vishwanath temple. Rooms are clean and well maintained , conveniently located between assi and dashashwamedh ghat. Vishwanath temple is 1.5 kms. It has a beautiful restaurant on the roof with great view of Ganga, The hotel has some very important temples close by. overall a very pleasant stay.
